School of Theatre Name a Seat

Join us as we celebrate 100 years of UNCG Theatre and UNCG's Taylor Theatre. Built in 1967, Taylor Theatre precedes the internet, wireless, cellphones, and laptops. After 55 years, it’s about time for a refresh!

Over the next 12-18 months and with funding as part of the state budget, Taylor Theatre will receive infrastructure modernization attending to deferred maintenance including the original HVAC system. And you might see some welcome changes to the auditorium.

You can be part of this with the School of Theatre Name a Seat campaign. Choose to make a gift for a single seat, several seats, a small row, or a large row. Available options and prices include:

• 210 single seats at $250 each
• 8 small rows at $1,500 each
• 3 large rows at $2,000 each
• Make a gift in honor of your class decade (e.g. $19.70 for the 1970s)
