Networking Resources
Networking is one of the most used (and deservedly so) terms in advice you’ll hear when discussing new job opportunities. Developing a resource pool of colleagues, family, friends, UNCG alumni and others, and developing professional relationships with them is a great way to get started.
Spartan Networking Resources
UNCG Alumni LinkedIn Group
Interact with other Spartan alumni, staff, faculty, students and friends as well as with a broad community of employers and recruiters.
Spartans Connect
UNCG Career Services and the Alumni Association are teaming up to host “Spartans Connect: Student + Alumni Networking Nights.
The event is an opportunity for current students to learn valuable relationship building skills and connect with successful UNCG graduates. During the first hour, alumni will network with one another while students participate in a networking workshop. Students will then have the chance to apply what they have learned as they meet alumni.
Young Alumni
Created to inspire, engage and welcome recent graduates into the UNCG Alumni Association, GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) gives you the opportunity to network with other young alumni, stay connected to UNCG and give back to your University.
Spartan Legislative Network
The Spartan Legislative Network is for all alumni who have a passion for UNCG and would like to advocate for their alma mater. Our mission is to support and advocate for UNCG and all of its accomplishments throughout the years.
UNCG Alumni Network and Affiliated Interest Groups
Alumni Networks and Affiliated Interest Groups connect graduates and friends to UNCG by engaging them through events that foster pride and create a lifelong connection to the university. The Alumni Association supports six regional Alumni Networks within the state and across the country. Alumni Networks provide a community where relationships can grow into strong common bonds. Alumni Networks are open to UNCG Alumni, parents, friends, fans and students.
