We hope to see you back on campus October 19-21 for Homecoming 2017! The weekend will feature the Block Party at Kaplan Commons with live entertainment from Sleeping Booty. Other festivities include the Homecoming Bonfire with food trucks, GOLD Alumni Spartan Hop tavern tour, UNCG Legacy Reception, Children’s Festival, Homecoming 5K, the Homecoming soccer match against SoCon rival Mercer and dozens of alumni receptions and reunion celebrations throughout the weekend. Register here and visit for more details and updates.

Hands-on research is a powerful experience for undergraduates, with a huge impact on student success. Alumni Association fund supports students and faculty

Late alumna Nina Riggs' 'The Bright Hour' on NYT bestseller list
This summer, a UNCG alumna’s words reached thousands across the globe. In her work, she conveyed the profound joys of life, in the midst of impending death. Many Spartans knew and admired Nina Riggs, who attended the MFA in Creative Writing Program from 2002 to 2004. She died in February at age 39, only weeks after finishing her book, “The Bright Hour: A Memoir of Living and Dying,” published by Simon and Schuster on June 6.
